100 Mile Challenge!
Shark Challenge 2017-2018
The shark challenge will kick off August 29, 2017. It will conclude May 4, 2018. Students of Saratoga Shores Elementary can accept the challenge of exercising to reach 100 miles in the 2017-2018 school year.
Miles are recorded at school and can also be recorded at home. For miles earned at home, parents must sign a “miles log” (click the link below) and turn in to the student’s teacher (or email miles to Mrs. Saxton). Miles can also be earned at school. Mrs. Saxton will track the miles earned at school.
If your child is participating in soccer or other sports, he/she can earn 1 mile for every 60 minutes of active play. This goes along with the “Fuel Up To Play 60” program that Saratoga Shores participates in.
Students will be awarded a pin for every 25 miles earned—so a pin for 25 miles, 50 miles and 75 miles. Students are awarded a medal at the end of the school year for reaching 100 miles or more.

You are welcome to email Mrs. Saxton your child’s miles.
